Holsten is an embodiment of history and hundreds-of-years-old brewing traditions of German brewers. Holsten was first brewed in 1879. In 1953 the Pilsener and Premium beer types got separated. Nowadays, Pilsener forms the consumption basis in Germany and the fact this beverage is generally recognized in this land of beer certainly testifies for its high quality.
